Bala Catamaran Club welcomes new members of all sailing abilities. Our aim is to promote the sport of sailing both for those wishing to race and those who sail for fun.

The club opens in March and closes at the end of October and during the season we have a full sailing calendar. On Saturdays we sail three pursuit races and on Sunday we sail two handicap races. As well as the Saturday  and Sunday series, we have a long distance race once a year, a catamaran Open event, an Easter Cup and Club Championships.

We have our own club camping area on site, right next to the lake and a small clubhouse with shower and toilet facilities. Caravans, tents and motor homes are welcome on site.

The club is run by volunteers and all members are asked to give up some of their time and their expertise, to help with the running of the club and its events.
